I have been running a Classic SqueezeBox and a Squeezebox Boom under LMS 7.7.3 for some time now without any issues. I had to change the hard drive in my 27" Apple iMac Quad-core i7 and a few weeks later, after all being OK, LMS will no longer start. The HD replacement was carried out by Apple and the wireless works on all other peripherals. I have lodged a ticket with Logitech but have received no meaningful replies or suggestions for the last 10 days. Under "System Preferences" I try to start the server (although it is set to start at boot and has worked fine in the past) but it tries then tells me it's stopped. As a retiree (Old Fart) and "Technical Dinosaur" I am at a loss as to what to try and cannot afford to consider buying alternatives. Can someone please give me an "Idiots Guide" to doing a full uninstall of LMS in Mavericks so that I can see if a clean install will bring my music back? Any other suggestions would be much appreciated - I don't think anything else has changed on my Mac but I will try anything sensible to set LMS up again. Thanks, Colin C
