What version of LMS to install?

Hi,

When upgrading from 7.7.4 to 7.8/7.9 on a ubuntu 14.04 server, what version should I use when I want a "new" version, but still a reliable, stable one? Usually, I would take a "developer stable" version, which would be newer than an "official release" but not as buggy as a "developer nightly".

What version would that be regarding the Squeezebox?
The 7.8.0 released on 27.3.2014 - or the nightly builds for 7.8.1 or 7.9.0?
Or did I miss some othe version?
