Scan won't complete - Problem with tags? Part Three

I cleaned up the tags in all of the files that I suspected of having malformed tags. I ran a Full Rescan and after 7 hours it had got about 75% of the way through my collection; then it stopped on another of the "suspicious" files. I cleaned that file up and started a Scan for New and Changed Files. Currently the scan is stuck, with no progress for over an hour. But the Scanner log shows only the results of the last scan. The Server log seems to be repeating the same thing over and over again.
How can I find out what file the scan is stuck on?
