This feature has been around a 'long time', and has worked well, so I expect I'm doing/done something wrong with my new 7.7.3 installation.
Although 'My Music' setting includes the standard things to 'ignore', including 'The', LMS 7.7.3 sorts and lists separately:
Beach Boys
The Beach Boys
and
Beatles
The Beatles
and dozens of others.
I've only just started with LMS, upgrading to run my first 'Touch'; prior to this I was running SBS 7.4 which sorted while ignoring 'The' so listing
The Beach Boys
only, which, when clicked, produced a list of all Beach Boys' tracks whether tagged with 'Beach Boys' or 'The Beach Boys'. That had been a really good feature.
Has the LMS functionality intentionally changed? Or is LMS expected to ignore 'The', and perhaps there's something wrong with my upgrade?
Do other people use this feature, and does it work as expected for you?
regards, Atlantic
