I have my squeezebox server (on a old nettop running vortexbox) set up to suspend it self after a while of being inactive using the "server power control"-plugin, and to wake up on LAN when needed. This has been working great for a while now. Recently, I moved house and got a new ISP including a new router. Now, whenever I try to wake the server from suspend it simply does not appear on my local network. I can see that the machine is woken up by the WOL packet, however, the server simply does not show up on the network. I cannot ssh into the machine, it does not respond to ping, and of course I cannot use the squeezebox server. If I do a hard reboot (shutting the machine down and turning it back on using the physical power button) the server works fine.
I suspect it may have to do with the new router as I really didn't change any other part of the system. However, I don't know what exactly might be coursing the problem and how to fix it. Does someone here have an idea? The new router is a Technicolor TG799vn v2.
