My HP 495 EX went bang several months ago, so I replaced the main drive and reinstalled WHS v1. Had to do it twice as the attempt to just restore did not take. So I did a new rebuild.
System is as such:
HP 495 ex with 4TB on board and a Sata 4 drive housing attached with 4x 2TB drives in it for a total 12 TB storage
LMS 7.7.2 installed
Squeezebox touch connected via Ethernet
The Touch sees the LMS on e HP WHS
The LMS web face is set up for music folders.
I have two folders in the main Music share
/music/FLAC/ containing all hi Rez flac files
/music/ALAC/ containing lossless rips of all 1200 of my CD's
There are about 900 songs in the FLAC library and 15,000 in the ALAC library.
Server is set to throw out all data and rescan. Watching the rescan, I can see it churning through all the albums and songs in each library. However, when all done, the log file records 0 albums, genres, artists, songs, etc
On the Touch, using the Artist, Genres and other menses all show empty.
Via the Music Folders I can drill down through Artist and album, but albums all show as employ. No songs....
Suggestions?
