Is there a simple step by step documentation on how to connect to the LMS through VPN?
Currently, I have the two required ports (9000 and 3483 ) port forwarded through my router. I have a user ID and password and also blocked incoming connections with the exception of 127.0.0.1,192.168.1.*, and the router address of a relatives house so that I can connect to my LMS server at home using a Raspberry Pi.
I understand that this is not the most secure method. I would like to be able to set up VPN on my server (a Mac Mini running El Capitan). I just paid $20 for OSX server and have set up a VPN network connection.
I have orange squeeze and squeeze player installed n my cell phone and connect to my network while I am home on wifi, but my confusion now is how do I set up those 2 ports securely so that I can connect to LMS though my cell phone from a remote location outside my WAN and LAN?
Please be gentle with me. :)
