LMS media file scanner wont read media files that are still recording/streamed to HDD

My radio DVR records a live radio show every morning; encoded in WMA format. I dont have any issues playing back these recordings while they're still recording using any media player; such as MPC-HC, Zoom Player, WMP, etc; even over the network.

I was trying to playback the wma file via my SB client; however, the media file doesnt get scanned until after the file has finished recording. So, the file doesnt even show up under My Music on my SB client.

I'm curious if there's a way I could have playback access to the recording via my SB client. I have the flexibility to record the audio in other audio formats if that helps.
