It's not so much a question of the OS being used, or LMS' main code
itself. But it's only a change in the pref pane code: starting with 7.7.3
it's available as 64 bit code, thus no longer asking fore the restart
(10.6 or 10.8 doesn't matter).
OTOH you'd no longer be able to run 7.7.3 on OSX 10.4 or PPC based
systems. But that shouldn't matter to you.
