LMS doesn't display the cover art embedded into my M4A files. All of those M4As were purchased in the iTunes store, so they had the art embedded. In some of the M4As, I changed the artwork to something else using Mp3tag. There not a single M4A I got for which LMS shows the art. And I have many. Other software (Mp3tag, WMP, foobar2000, Android music, etc.) does show the art.
It's just M4A, I don't have problems with other formats, so LMS sees the art of all of my FLAC, MP3, and OGG files.
