I purchased a QNAP TS-269L and installed through the application feature LMS 7.7.2. My music library has about 11,500 tracks, but during the initial scan, at 6,464 tracks it crashes. I use SSOTS interface to restart the server and re-scan, but the scan hangs. I have uninstalled LMS, reinstalled with no success. Leaving 7.7.2 installed and upgrading through SSOTS using various other versions, 7.7.3, 7.7.4 and 7.8.x has no impact. After LMS crashing with firmware 4.0.4, I upgraded last evening to 4.0.5. on the QNAP and no change. My music library runs fine using my NetGearDUO. Is it possible the LMS database or cache is corrupt and uninstalling LMS does not actually remove them? Any suggestions are appreciated.
