I had this problem once before on my SB Radio with a few stations, but it turned out to be because I had disabled a certain file type.
Easy fix, but doesn't seem to be the problem this time.
If anyone is willing, please try to play the following station: Internet Radio>Search>Ambient Sleeping Pill
The station comes up on all of my players, shows the icon, even gives track info, but will not play.
In the LMS web interface, if I hit the M (more) button on the station in the playlist, it gives me following info in the left pane:
File Format: Windows Media
URL: http://opml.radiotime.com/Tune.ashx?...107636e663a473
Previously, I had disabled Windows Media file types, but even with them enabled, it does not play.
If I copy the above link and paste it into my browser, it attempts to open and play via my computer's audio player (foobar2000).
However, foobar throws the following errors:
Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported file format):
Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported file format):
Unable to open item for playback (Unsupported file format):
All other internet radio stations I have tried in this same fashion play fine via foobar.
Here is the station's website, which shows the same links: http://ambientsleepingpill.com/play.html
Now, if I copy and paste any of these .pls links manually into my browser, any one of them will open and play fine in foobar.
Once in foobar, if I right-click on the stream and view it's properties, it shows the stream address is "http://50.7.96.138:8684/stream"
Copying this manually into the "Tune In URL" field in the LMS web interface works and I'm able to save it as a Favorite, but I don't get the station icon, etc.
What's interesting is, if I go to TuneIn's site and try to play it directly there: http://tunein.com/radio/Ambient-Sleeping-Pill-s190314/
It says "We're sorry. An error occurred. Please try again.", followed by a pop-up saying "We didn't find any playable streams".
Seems like it's an issue with TuneIn or the station itself and not Squeezebox-related, but wanted to see what others experienced.
