Hi, I'm trying to install LMS 7.8 or 7.9 on a dedicated PC.
Squeezelite instances will be used on remote computers e.g. Daphile or piCorePlayer on Raspberry.
I want the underlying OS to be as small as possible to limit software jitter.
For that purpose, I've used Debian 7.7 Netinst (64-bit) to keep packages to a bear minimum: no GUI for instance!
LMS was installed successfully and is able to communicate with a remote Squeezelite.
Administration on port 9000 from a Web browser is working great too.
However, when I'm trying to play a track, the latter is being queued and LMS starts it for 1 or 2 seconds (no sound) and then stops.
At this point, SqueezeServer processes and related daemons are still active.
I know for sure Squeezelite is working well as I can stream music from another instance of LMS on a Mac.
What am I missing or doing wrong from Debian?
Are there any software dependencies that should be satisfied or installed prior installing LMS?!
Thanks a lot ;-)
