Hi Guys
Currently running LMS v7.7.2 r33908 on a Vortexbox, with Squeezebox Touch and Boom devices. Also got SqueezePlay v7.6.2 r0 (Windows build) on several networked PCs (XP & W7). Everything is working fine but is there any advantage in a running a later/more modern version of SqueezePlay?
Looking at the nightly build directory, the only 7.7 SqueezePlay build seems to be for SqueezePlay: Mac OSX Installer. However, there is a bang up-to-date 7.8 SqueezePlay: Windows Executable Installer build.
So, should I leave well-alone or would it be OK/beneficial to install the latest 7.8 build? It may sound trivial but it would be really nice if, when minimised, SqueezePlay provided a 'now playing' tooltip which identified the currently-playing track (like VLC and most other media players) - by any chance, does the latest build do this?
Thanks, in advance
