Frustration du jour... actually it's been leaning this way and just gets worse. I have to restart my entire system in order to get out of this Rescanning loop. After I start listening to any music files, LMS starts rescanning, and continues to do so for hours and hours. If I try to abort, the message (on the web browse) up-top says that rescanning has been aborted and warns me that I won't have full use of my library until I do a new scan. But, the bottom of the webpage still shows "rescanning" and I don't have access. Every so often the abort works... and then it will randomly begin again, always within the hour.
I only browse by music folder, so I'm not even sure that rescanning serves a benefit. Is there any way to get this to stop and stay stopped? Changing the option on the Control Panel to "only rescan playlists" doesn't do anything. It always defaults back to "look for new and changed media files", and the whole rescan routine starts back up in a short time.
Thanks.
