If you have been running an older LMS on that machine, then you might
want to wipe its template cache (a folder "templates" inside the cache
folder - the location of which you can find in Settings/Informations).

I performed a full rescan of the media library and now it just hangs after Scanning new music files. Abort scan does not work, I have to reboot my server and then Abort scan works.

It is a beta build. It is a nightly. It is stable. Call it what you
want. It's really only the DietPi's dev's understanding (or lack
thereof) preventing him from "allowing" his users to use it. Giving it a
different name won't make it any more stable. In theory 7.9.2 is just
another bugfix release for 7.9.x. The dev should accept 7.9.x.
FWIW: bumping the version number, adjusting update checkers,
repositories, build systems etc. is about a day of work. I was tempted
to do it recently, but really... it's mostly a lot of work, with little
added value.

Hi,
I have a large number of files on google drive. It's a shared drive with multiple band projects so the files tend to be large. I don't want to move them locally if possible. A lot of them are just practice sessions that I need to listen to and then the next week it will be a different session. That's a lot of time moving files and some reasonably large duplicate storage. So, my need is to just stream from google drive. Note, this has nothing to do with google music. What I need to stream are .mp3 and .wav files on my google drive in folders. BTW, I'm using Max2Play for steaming.
I have tried to use both ocamlfuse and Rclone, but failed in both instances. I'm good enough with linux to copy commands and do some debugging, but am not an expert (20 years of tech experience so I get it quickly, but sometimes there is just so much to learn!).
Is there some easy way, for me to mount/add/access google drive and have it appear on the basic settings menu in the drop down list of LMS where you select the media folders? Is there some other way to do this? Is there any way to have cloud-based drives appear under the 'my music' folder in LMS?
Looking for options and your help is greatly appreciated.

Hi!
I need someone that can help me to play music from an android smartphone accessing to LMS in my local network.
I got LMS 7.9.2 on a local server at home.
With some app (for example Foobar mobile) I can see LMS in the UPnP/DLNA server list of the app.
I can browse all my music and play mp3 files, but can not play flac tracks.
When I try this, I got this error:
"Playbac error: Bad Request (400) On: "http://192.x.x.x:9000/music/xxxxxx/download.mp3?bitrate=320"
I don't know if this is an error of the player or a settings problem on LMS.
I don't know where change this settings!
There is several plugin for UPnP/DLNA: one by Andy Grundman (the plugin name sounds like "Multimedia Interface UPnP/DLNA (v1.0)") and another one named "UPnP/DLNA bridge".
With another app (BubbleUPnP) I can play FLAC files, but I don't know why I can not use also foobar.
Can someone help me?

I have been trying for days to log on to LMS from I always get this error Please sign in with your mysqueezebox.com email and password to continue.when i enter pasword nothing hapens but I can log on to Logitech squeezebox without any problem with the same username and password password is also regected from Logitech media control panel

I have a problem with my LMS 7.9.1.168 on my Synology NAS 213+.
I have no results when I try to find something in the database. I always have the result of zero; no results; no matches.

I'm running into the (apparent) edge case of having multiple audio files per cue sheet. As per my understanding this is a known issue, and in the code there is a comment that this is still a to do item.
Before jumping into the issue, I'd like to understand the problems with this scenario, as it's apparently not an easy fix (otherwise it would have been implemented I assume).
Can someone please tell me briefly what makes this different from a cue sheet with one audio file? And perhaps even what the expected behavior should be and (even better) the caveats?
I'm a programmer, but with almost zero experience with perl. But I'm definitely willing to dive into this issue, if there is a chance it can be fixed.

I've written a perl script that uses my thermostat schedule to generate a morning "wakeup" action on the squeezebox closest to the bedroom using the CLI.
I launch a repeating short sound clip (like ones found on cell phone alarms) that last around 20 seconds and play it repeatedly for 60 seconds, then turn the squeezebox off. It has the advantage of always being in sync with my daily schedule.
One issue I had with the single, short sound clip is that it crossfades with itself in a very annoying fashion... (especially that I use 10s crossfades).
My current fix is as follows in file Squeezebox.pm:

Ciao,
I searched through the forum how to create a play list but I didn't find any suitable answer.
I found a way to do it by adding manually my Squeezbox screen each tittle in a new play list but that's really a pain.
Going through the LMS interface, I can retrieve my play list but I can't add new tittle.
No way do do it from the LMS interface ?
At the end I would like to get a play list like I have in iTunes and organize in in a friendly manner.
A thread could be exist but after to search within a lot, I stopped.... :(

Hi.
The left hand panel is blank, the right hand player panel is fine. I can access settings and running a scan looks fine in that finds plenty. I can't edit playlists without access to the music panel though. I've tried a reboot.
Suggestions most welcome.

I'd say it's a setup problem with squeezelite. SB players by default
would have been called "Squeezebox 2", "Squeezebox Boom" etc.

Since I setup Logitech media server i have been unable to log on from Picoreplayer and get this2 Oops! You don't appear to have any players registered to this account." from squeezebox using Win10 on desktop
Password is also rejected from Logitech media server advance setting Mysqueezebox.com
I am using my Samsung S9 as a player and all seems fine on the phone
I found an old Iphone5s and logged on to Mysqueezebox.com without a problem using same password and username
I am a very new beginer and totaly confused
Any Advise
